"Lets give our money to an already rich bitch! Yeah!"

You know, I feel for Matilda, but theres families in America that are going broke because they are losing loved ones and children, but no, lets give it to this girl that had a high profile hollywood star who already had enough money.

Doesn't Depp go around in his Pirates costume at children's hospitals?

I don't think he is evil here.

We're more likely to feel empathy towards those we know and those who are in our immediate communities. It isn't surprising then that those three actors would give the money they earned replacing a dead actor to that actor's child.

Oddly, if they spent the money on cars and jewelery, nobody would have made a thread about it.

She's not set for life.  Ledger hadn't written a will, his dad got all of his monies.  His dad is notorious for being irresponsible with money, too.  Apparently he had blown a bunch of Heath's money a couple years back.

Honestly, the real charity was Jude Law, Johnny Depp, and Colin Farrell stepping in to make sure Terry Gilliam's hit and miss film career wasn't completely halted by Ledger's death.

this thread kinda sucks.  they can do whatever they want with their money including giving it to their late friend's child.  poor people should just get better fucking jobs.

This is all premised on the notion that people who work on Gilliam films earn something above minimum wage.
