This whole situation was such a mess. Still, you kinda cant blame em when we give stadiums to everyone but them. Not that I agree with a bajillion stadiums or even like basketball. This is ultimate burn tho.

The Hornets will be in Seattle soon enough.

You better hope they arrive without George Shinn.

Really irks me that billionaire team owners can use the threat of relocation as leverage to get tax dollars to fund their privately owned stadiums.  If Seattle doesn't get a new team right away, they'll be used by every other team trying to get a new arena built, just like Washington was used in baseball for years and LA is brought up by NFL teams.

I know a lot of owners are way leveraged when they buy their teams, but c'mon.  If you don't have enough money to buy it, don't go crazy in debt then demand the city coughs up a few hundred million dollars.  Dicks.

Supersonics were my fav team in the 90s.  Back then, they were the funnest team to watch in the NBA.  Then things started going downhill after Shawn Kemp was traded for a even crazier dude.

I still wish the Sonics would stay because of their rich history in Seattle.  I think Seattle residents will regret this someday.

Regret this? We already do, Seattle residents are not the city council and government.

I am generally disapproving of the whole American sports culture.  BBQ and a Football game every weekend is the sorta life that I can't ever imagine myself living.

I still enjoy watching NBA sometimes but that's only because I play basketball.  NBA players are amazingly athletic but there's no way I'd ever pay that much to watch them play.

The only times I ever attend a game is when I get free tickets from my dad.

I love baseball more than most things in life. I'd be devastated if we didn't have a Major League team in town. I typically go to 8-10 Mariners game every year.

Football is fun, and I enjoy watching it, but it can't hold a candle to baseball. However, I've managed to go to one Seahawks game every year for the last five years.
