I'm not selling my Wii. My nephew and my little cousins play it and I still play Brawl once in a while. Plus I don't want them messing with my 360.

I don't get the appeal of the Tales or Disgaea series, quite frankly. I've tried them both and I don't get it.

Thus I would go with Infinite Undiscovery by default

I'm only getting Tales because I've been craving for a decent next-gen jRPG since forever. Disgaea is great, though. I love the humor and the dumb story. Plus, I LOVE leveling up and grinding. Best SRPG ever besides FFT - War of The Lions.

Infinite Undiscovery looks like FFXII to me, which is a huge turnoff.

You just described nearly every RPG ever made. What is it that makes Disgaea different. Throwing Prinnies?

I also don't get the hate for FF XII. The story was pretty interesting, even though it fell apart at the end, and I thought that the gambit system allowed some decent strategy (though I will say that it would have been better if it actually worked consistently)

I would get IU seeing as how the main story supposedly short but has lots of shit to do. So the amount of time you plunk into the game is what you decide.

Tales will probably be the typical 70 Hour Animu romp. The ToV does have me interested though seeing as how I'm playing through Tales of the Abyss

Even if you miss a treasure in LO, you can rest easy knowing it's still available, unlike Blue Dragon where you are fucked on that and enemies if you miss one.

Have all Vesperia achievements been revealed? I'd imagine the guide coming out with Vesperia will tell them all. I still dont like Vesperia's achievements.

Infinite Undiscovery would be a better buy since Tales of Vesperia is a stupid, childish, badly voice-acted anime fuckbag. rpgs are supposed to be 50% awesome combat and 50% awesome story, and in the demo vesperia's dialogue was so shitty and contrived i couldn't even finish it. besides, i have hope that a lot of people see a shakespearean end in IU and die.

Not that I'm defending ToV (character designs are a huge turnoff), but doesn't IU have the characters yelling out their special attacks during battle? And sounding really stupid?

I'm still gonna go with IU though. Tri-Ace has yet to let me down (although I disapproved of the creation skill gimping from SO2->SO3).

Not worth it. Keep the sumbish to play Stranger's Wrath and Sudeki. Anyways, I was smart and sold mine when I preordered my launch 360 way back in summer 2005, I got $170 on Ebay

but now I cant play Stranger :'(

Don't know how to mod and the few games that I have work on the 360. And thanks to my friends, one controller doesn't work and the other one only works when the cord is held in a certain position. It's just a 10 lb paperwight.

Choosing Vesperia and Dragon Quest IV first and will eventually get either Disgaea 3 or Infinite Undiscovery near the end of the month. I will await impressions here to decide between which one I'll get. Too many friggin games coming out in the coming months.
