I got home at 1am. Drove from Alabama to Michigan (saturday), then spent another 3 hours in the car to go to northern Michigan to visit my dad for sunday, then canoed and spent 3 hours in the car back home. yay.

Wasn't horrible, but I am tired. 1 good thing about today though is Rhapsody has an early release of Slipknots new album, so far it's pretty cool.

i just went for a ton of different classes to try them on for size.  i think my favorite is the Swordmaster, but I was constantly annoyed with the with the players on the side of Order.  Most of my gripes come from not having a set of intelligent, coordinated players who would gladly just let themselves be run over in some desperate attempt to...i honestly have no idea.

took a warrior priest to 10, the dark elf equiv to 7
witch hunter to 4 but i couldn't kite like i wanted and there were a wealth of that class already.
swordmaster to 11 and the greenskins equiv to 5.

and dwarf tank to 5.  *shudder*  hate defensive tanks.  Can't get into the mindset at all to play one

I played an ironbreaker up to 20-I spec'd for offense and used a 2H, and did about as well damage wise as my swordmaster at that level in the closed beta. I like both classes, but the opening snare and absurdly favorable grudge mechanic are making me lean ironbreaker at release.

I played with my wife, who played a warrior priest to 20. Shit class, can't DPS or heal, and little utility. Runepriest or Archmage is way better IMO.

Up for a game anytime, I can play all four sides pretty well (best w/ wehrmacht). I also play Dawn of War (have all of the games in the series, my current fascination is with the Eldar, who are IMO sorta OP in Soulstorm).

The lack of sustainable healing in RvR just kills the class. The righteous fury mechanic just sucks compared to straight AP usage like the other healers have. The fact that the prayers are % chance on hit and not PPM also hurt the class given the slow weapon swing speed.

just play wotlk if you want PvE. The PvP in WAR is the really the big deal there, you can pretty much play just PvP right from the minute you reach the first warcamp (like level 4) and level and get coin/loot (via reknown merchants)  that's the best you can get in the game for that level.
