7 Nights - 7 Movies

A friend at work has handed me a library of movies to watch so I can develop some new tastes. I can't watch them ALL over vacation, but I can do my best. Which should they be?

I dunno what a lot of those are.  I heart Tetsuo.  Never seen teh sequel.  I hear it's more straightforward and not as good, but I still want to see it personally on account of how awesome the original is.

I love Tetsuo, Hard-Boiled and Jackass.

i'm way late on this because of the whole east coast time zone coupled with an early job

Hard Boiled     - seen it too many times to recommend it
2DLK    - short and sweet and totally awesome.  two roommates go after each other in an ever escalating orgy of violence, cattiness and dark humor.

Bullet in the Head    - the darkest and most personal of Woo's movies.  Good but depressing.

The Killer    - it's like Face/off in reverse!  the boat fight comes first, then the church shoot out!

A Better Tomorrow II    - love it.  absolutely hilarious send up of action films.

Tetsuo the Iron Man    - weird wonderful body horror

Tetsuo II: Body Hammer    - insane, insane, insane.  it is more straight to the point, but that point is still a drill where a penis used to be.  the end is just go for broke.

Branded to Kill    - ah, the rice sniffer.  insane yakuza movie, but still slow.
