Would you pay 15 grand for this car

Ford will market a hatchback version of the Fiesta alongside the sedan in the U.S. The Dearborn-based automaker originally planned to sell only the sedan version, but changed its mind in the face of rapid consumer shifts from trucks and SUVs to more economical vehicles.

Ford did not officially announce which hatchback the U.S. would see — the Fiesta is produced as both a three-door and five-door hatchback in other world markets — but a source at Ford’s Mexican plant indicated that both versions would be available in the U.S. At the very least, the U.S. will see the five-door version, as evidenced by the latest spy shots.

I would I guess.

My only gripe is that we have to wait 2 more years to see this shit. It's 2008 for fuck sake!!!! We should have this stuff already!~! MOst of this stuff has been concept for over 10 years now. Concept time to production always seems to twice as long in the auto industry.

The oil companies have bought up all the rights to alternative fuel for automobiles. It's a planned system. Sell all the oil they can and when it's $10/gallon at the pump, swoop in to save us all with 100-200MPG hybrids. With which they catch the next windfall of profits from their bought/owned alternative fuel cars. :usacry
