Never played the first one, but this game is fucking sweet, just about finished it. They managed to get a console length narrative and game onto PSP real damn good. Being a TCG player does help me appreciate it more though. I actually think the storyline is pretty good, quite clever and not too blown out.

Dont remember ever seeing a thread here about this game, any of you guys played it?

i love the hell out of Acid, but haven't really gotten into ACID2, despite having bought it the day it released.

I love both the MGA games. Played the first one a shitload at launch, then the second one surprised me and it was even better than the first. I'd love to see a MGA3 as opposed to another PO.

i started replaying this recently, and it's just as good as i remember.  i still hate the way that the cards are arranged in the deck editor, but otherwise the game is ace.  i'm really going to try to beat expert mode this time too (never beat it on MGA1 either).

 i don't get what you guys are saying about the story though.  it seemed like it was on par with a fucking mega man game.  pretty straightforward, dumb characters, crap dialog, doa-like bouncing boobs, and it didn't even really build on MGA1's story.  MGA had a more metal gear-like story (overly complicated), but the way everything came together was underwhelming.  anyway it's just a fucking video game story so it doesn't really matter, point is this game is ACE

oh and MGS3 cutscenes in 3D is also awesome

I bought a copy off Half.com, and it came with the 3D glasses. How does it work in 3D?

it displays two images on the screen, with the camera slightly off-center on each one.  you can turn it on for levels and story scenes, and there is a theater mode that has most of MGS3's cutscenes (with japanese dialog), the original MGS4 trailer, and a lot of really shitty girl videos, all in 3D.  it rox.
