Oh god gaming has once again become a burden. What to play?! I have movies to watch you know! All my plans ruined!

10 hours in, halfway through. The game does get crazy easy about 1/3rd of the way through. Even when a boss is tough to take down you can totally abuse SP Charge's long cast time and the fact that you can get hit while casting. So you basically can just stall till your friends are revived auto. Fun enough game, but Summon Night 2 on GBA had characters that were more fun. I still prefer Children of Mana. I think a lot of the neat mechanics in Summon Night Twin Age are totally wasted - LIKE THE SUMMONING. Wtf is the point, youre OP anyway.

Favorite Disgaea to date? Seems so. Maybe even my favorite NIS game. They did so much right with this game its pretty fucking crazy.

Thanks to Disgaea 3 I only have 4 hours into this one. Realllly like what ive played so far.

12,000 more kills then I have all achievements. Not entirely sure this is going to happen this weekend. Tough choice: Play awesome new games or spend 3-4 hours grinding the same level in the same gundam with the same pilot.

Fun, going to TRY an online game with some friends this weekend. We will see.

Recently I've been loving Bionic Commando Rearmed. Holy shit Nintendo could print money if they would give me identical 8/16 bit gameplay with solid HD visuals and style. I would rebuy every game from my childhood if they were given the Rearmed treatment. I will not buy a rom, however. Anyway, I just beat level 6 last night finally, that area always gives me fits. Thank god the barrels don't hurt you!

Since the Olympics are over, I'll probably get back into Mass Effect and try and finish it. I just got past the Lunar mission, so I've made significant progress.

edit: I don't think I have a 3 day weekend though :'(

MOH: Heroes 2 - I still can't get over how good the fps waggle controls are for this game. I can see the possibilities of an MS or PS3 Wagglestick for fps games now, if they don't just do crap minigames with it (which of course they will, then abandon the tech when they realize crap waggle minigames without the word Nintendo on the box aren't going to sell)

Burnout Paradise PS3 - I got this so cheap I had to buy it. Now I own it for both systems. Sorta like the sixaxis steering.

Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles - It's okay, like a shooting tour of all the RE games.

Mario Kart Wii - fuck you blue shells

Warhawk - yay jetpacks

Too Human-I just completed a second playthrough. I have a level 30 defender and berserker, if anyone wants to co-op, hit me up.

COD4-My brother is coming up on Sunday, and we always play multiplayer.

Metal Gear Acid-I have beat the first level after the tutorials, and its different. Not sure how long I'll be playing this one.

I'm going to try to finish my 1st Madden 09 season. I'm 6-6 as the stock 49ers and I'm loving the game. Unlike Maddens of the past, I lose by making bad decisions not by an 80 yard bomb in the 2 minute drill by my opponent. Best Madden ever.

Mostly Tales of Vesperia. I just got out of the requisite "travel through the sewers and fight rats" part. Glad that they got that out of the way early on.

Received my of Breath of Fire: Dragon Quarter today (for a mere $7) so if I have some time I'll play some of that as well.

Brutal Mario- Thanks to a thread on that other forum I found this surprisingly decent romhack of Super Mario World. It's not nearly as tough as compared to Asshole Mario, in fact the difficulty at the moment is actually pretty balanced and the level design and boss fights are quite good. Here's a pic:

Dragon Warrior III- Done with my Final Fantasy three white mage run and am now attempting a mage and warrior run on DW3.

and a bit of Bionic Commando: Rearmed and Castle Crashers on the side.

Not playing: Disgaea 3 :'(

I get Mercs 2 coming tommorrow hopefully. Playing Castle Crashers and also comparing Bionic Commando/Super Puzzle Fighter 2 on both 360/PS3 to see which one to buy. Initial impressions, 360 compressed audio is horse shit compared to uncompressed audio on PS3 through 5.1.

Finishing up my first NCAA online dynasty (great fun) and starting my Madden league. I'm also going to end up replaying FEAR on 360 since I can get the game for 10 bucks. Need to warm up before project origin is out!

Also getting my PC fully functional this weekend so I can finish Bioshock.

Well, I've never played the PC version or the 360 version, but I think they're pretty fun. I'm assuming they're easier than the previous versions, because I'm not having much trouble at all. I prefer the PSP version over the DS version, it's a bit harder (there were a few levels that gave me a bit of trouble on the PSP version, but the DS one was pretty easy) and the larger screen helps the game a lot. I like that it's a pure platformer, where you really do nothing but jump around on platforms.

Yup. I played almost all the PSP levels and I don't think any are clones of the 360 levels, although some of them are similar concepts watered down.

Definitely get the 360 version, it's way harder and also offers a co op campaign, and the DLC is only $2.

Did you restart the level? I think that's what you are going to have to do.

Then you can look forward to barely surviving the fight, having no medkits left, hitting a checkpoint, then dying repeatedly for 30 minutes.

Tales of Vesperia. Why the hell was this game so hard to find? I had to go to 4 different stores before I was able to find a copy. I don't think Best Buy has any plans of even stocking it. Does Gamestop have some sort of exclusivity on this or something?
