I really disliked Ep2. Granted that I never finished it, but I couldn't take any more. And I was absolutely psycho bananas over HL2; Raising the Bar is the coffee table book of forever, I bought the Combine Wall litho, and I made massively long nerd-posts regarding the greatness of the game world, the vision, etc. But I guess when something that remarkable comes along, you come to expect future efforts to keep pushing things. And Ep2, and certainly Ep1, felt like retreads of previous HL games mingled with various suck-ass portions of other shooters. I'll have to give it another shot one of these days, but what I played was anything but exciting.
