The Mine Cart ride was intense with those screaming, exploding bitches coming out from everywhere. I HATE THEM. Had to reload so many times because they got me, ugh.

Because it was lame. Big ass creature with big fingers, moving in the most mechanical and systematic way you could imagine. Avoid fingers, wait for an opening, smash in face, shoot suspension. The End. It was lame because it should have been so much more awesome, and I honestly consider the Theron Guards to be better boss characters than the Corpser. I hope Epic has really worked on the boss battles for the sequel, because the ones in Gears were painfully uninspired.

And speaking of uninspired...

When I played on Casual, I think I died a few of times at the Corpser.  Yet when I played on Hard a year later I beat it first time really easily.

Which makes me wonder what the fuck I was doing the first time.

1st time i played GEARs i played in Co Op, live.

When we reached the corpser, both my friend and i were floored. It looked amazing, and was creepy, and the whole encounter went perfectly.

Gears is an awesome game.

Playing Hard/Insane in Co-Op is the only way the game's enjoyable; I'm sad to hear Co-Op isn't supported on PC; that's just -- weird. They support other multiplayer modes, right?

Gears of War has co-op on the PC, unless you're talking about some kind of bug where it doesn't work. I've never actually tried co-op on the PC, but it's there on the menu.

Agreed. I just finished my Insane replay, and I fucking loved every second of it.

Raam on insane and solo? that sounds like a recipe for frustration. sniper headshots and running from one side of the train to the other is a possible way to go.

You can use the torque bow to get the bats to fly off him, then get headshots with active reloaded sniper rounds and the magnum I guess.

I did him on Hardcore alone but only with a friend on Insane.
