Do these anarchists not have lives or jobs?  Why preach peace if you're going to react with violence?

After all the Republican Party has done for us the past eight years, breaking some benches and windows is the least we could do!

What has protesting ever accomplished?

Specifically, what has peaceful protesting every accomplished? It's mighty popular to throw in the old "violent protesters ruin everything for the peaceful ones," but historical precedence supports that violence nets more result than simply singing and handing out shitty flyers.

^Exactly. Where do you think the saying "a government should be afraid of its people" came from? Certainly not from the hand holding peace mongers.

I don't think the hardcore anarchists that do this sort of thing are the "Let's get a job!" sort of people.

yeah it really is awesome when cops beat up protesters (including nonviolent ones), deny them medical care, and hold them for days on bullshit charges.  it's also really great that they're detaining journalists too.  and they won't even get into trouble for it, either!  fuck you guys.

my friend works with SDS DC who had a contingent going out for their Funk the War street dance.  he made a banner for them which read "Youth is a Weapon and We Are Armed To the Teeth."

that's pretty bad ass

the police maced the people carrying it and then stole the banner

yes because reports of protesters acting violently are never overblown.  i'm sure all 200+ people arrested for legitimate reasons.
