Is Speed Racer (Wii) any good?

I saw the game for 12 Euros in a local department store, and that's quite cheap for a Wii game around here, where even stuff like Zack & Wiki is still full price. Plus, racing games haven't let me down on the Wii so far (liked Excite Truck and MKWii).

I know some people on Gaf said the game is decent, but i wonder if they were polite cause one of the devs(Mario) of that game was hanging out in the thread as well.

So, anybody here played that? Give me your honest opinion....

Mario is a dev at SidHe who did Gripshift, so it may be ok.

The only good Wii games are Zelda, Mario and Prime 3.

Sounds okay, doesn't it? If it's mildy entertaining, i think 12 Euros is okay, but if it's complete shit, i would prefer buying 4 Kebabs for the same money.
