This is good stuff. Does anyone else know of other games that have good soundtracks for download?

The Fable soundtrack is very nice. Especially Summer Fields.  :heartbeat

I'd like to hear a rip of Steve Henefin's Too Human soundtrack, seeing as I'm not going to buy the game until it's ~ $20.

Mercenaries 1 had a great soundtrack. Epic.

It's available as a CD, and there are numerous download links for that on google, but I recall that I have 2 or 3 legal MP3s that were available on the composer's site, or LucasArts'.

Ah, here's a working one:

The Bioshock devs also made a free artbook available online.  It was pretty interesting.

You have horrible, horrible taste in video games.

Eh, he's right though, to an extent. I mean, it was a pretty good game, and definitely a hallmark in terms of artistic quality and uniqueness as well as in terms of design of a contained game world, but it was pretty shocking to see many supposedly "professional" game critics waxing on about its originality, depth and about how groundbreaking it was, when it was in reality in many ways a step back from its forerunners.

Game design wise, it fell apart in the last two thirds, and it repeated some very familiar things a few times too many.

I've probably said it here before, but I liked Bioshock the first time I played it, when it was called "System Shock 2." I'm stunned at how little they changed the basic gameplay.

Alas, I never availed myself of SS1. I've heard it was very far ahead of its time. Then again, so was Thief: The Dark Project. Poor Looking Glass... they should have survived.
