Most up to date list of recalled items here.

And the article.

I saw a commercial a few days ago with the head of the company saying how sorry he is for everything that happened, and that we cans till trust them and their products.

My view on this, is we live in a consumer driven world. And as a consumer, I say fuck Maple Leaf products for good. Why would anyone ever go back to buying their products if their carelessness lead to at least one person's death? We have so many other choices out there, it'd be ludicrous for anyone to ever purchase a maple leaf product again.

Maple Leaf doesn't give a fuck about their consumers, they only care about their bottom line, hence why they cut their inspections down to 2%.

Their employees? They can move on to other companies.

Yeah this is pretty bullshit. Everyday there is something new added to the list. I mean come on mushrooms? Seriously? I agree with you I'll never purchase another Maple Leaf product again. Awesome way to kill a brand

Are the mushrooms even under the Maple Leaf brand? Also, Ivanhoe cheese is doing a big recall as well, though, again, I don't know if they're part of the Maple Leaf family.
