Here are three "truths" that came to me while thinking about it:

1. By protecting someone elses life, you in return become stronger.

2. No death is truly meaningless.

3. If one lives forever, it will lose its meaning for living.

I haven't experience a close death in terms of family and friends at all. I'm not sure how I'll handle it really, I can be stupid online but in real life I think I can be considered a sensitive pussy. Someone close to me dieing would probably devastate me.

Just you know not existing or having someone you know not exsit anymore...I have never experienced death yet, even my oldest dog of 9 years is still alive. My grandparents died a year before I was born so I just haven't had the impact to make any sort of feeling about it...it's just mind blowing though the whole life/death concept.

Well then youre doing it for your family. Which is fine, for now. However it is important to remember that your moral center is not found in a church. Most people who do not have true faith in a religion end up either adapting the church's set moral code to accomodate their life, or just sorta wing it by creating a personal code based off of the actions of personal heroes or learned dislikes.

ie. I dislike poop in my mouth, so I will not put poop in the mouth of my friends. Do unto others kinda thing you know? While I don't subscribe to the kinds of God found in churches I do believe it is possible to find something in yourself that is worth having faith in. For all I know that could also be a connection with god that doesnt require A FUCKING HOUR A SUNDAY OF GOD DAMN CHUCH MUSIC!

Everybody, by going through there daily lives, affects someone whether it be on purpose or unknowingly. This may have favorable or adverse effects but regardless doesn't this make their lives meaningful(purposeful) in some way by affecting the world for someone else?

A death for instance is truly a mark, a point in someones life that affects people in some way, thus is not meaningless.

Fuck yeah! It's what I do most nights when I don't have a friend over. Except now, fucking Evilbore and GoW have made me start getting online at home. Usually I just put the work from my office on a thumb drive and work on it at home. That's really fucking pathetic.

Viz: Same with me. I just don't cry. I've gone in and out of depression since I was about 13. Learned to deal with it though and realized you can trudge through it most of the time.
