I've been playing gears since i got it pretty much every freaking day. And after lovin the cover system it has i thought i wouldnt be able to get into R6V oh i was wrong. I'm gonna say it R6V is better than GoW. Everything that i hated about GoW, R6V does right. Theres a story for one thats actually pretty compelling thus far. Not only that but its got a better cover system. And the guns are insane i've never felt like i'm using a real gun but its close. I've fired a few of the guns in real life and the guns in the game are very realistic.

Anyone else got it?

I was just about to make an "R6: Vegas > Gears" thread when I saw this one. For real, duder. This is gun porn. The weapons are so loud and violent and just feel real. The AI is very smart and makes for great opponents. I'm in love.

Sneaking up behind someone, screwing on your silencer then leaving a blood splotch on the wall behind them with a click of your assault rifle is pure fuckin' sex. Not regular old twice a week missionary sex with the wife, but like a hot girl at the bar sticks her tongue in your ear, whispers that she isn't wearing any panties and asks if you want to leave with her. Like that but with assault rifles. And I'm not some Soldier of Fortune readin' Montana Libertarian, either.

I haven't played Vegas, but from what I've seen, it looks phenomenal.

I just played Gears today and it was just underwhelming actually.

I just dont multiplayer much cause I play so many games at once. I cant keep my skill level up with everyone else since I play so casually. SO there ya go. Glad its good tho, id like to see GRAW 2 soon

I don't multiplayer much either. In fact I turned down a co-op invite tonight because I was having so much fun with the single player.

the storyline is just getting good and you want to know whats going on next. I like the twists in vegas they are good but as a whole the game fails cause the story is broken apart. Same thing with gears and Splinter Cell which pisses me off greatly.

But i will survive the multiplayer is where its at. But i fear they wont release free maps like they did for R63.

my buddy has this, but he's only played the first level, to busy with Gears. i'll ask him to lend it to me. how are the graphics later on in the game?

Its all pretty much the same through and through. I liked it but at the same time graphics really arent what the game is about. Its all about the guns and the guns are bitchin. But you have to find the guns in the level to unlock them.

I really REALLY like R6 Vegas. It's a bit buggy, but the cover system DOES in fact play really well, and the whole game is just naughty naughty gunporn. If a Metal Gear SOlid game controlled even half as well as R6 Vegas, I might actually ENJOY them instead of simply tolerate them for the wacky cutscenes and scenarios.

i like cover systems like this. it really makes it feel more intense and tactical.

i'm even using it in my pen and paper Rifts campaign lol
