Something funny about this place

We're growing each day with new members signing up from GAF and other places, but the activity always remains the same. Since forever. You look at the top to see how many posters are online and it's often around 15, 30 max.

And I like that. EB can't turn into GAF. We should step in as quickly as possible when it starts to fill up here.
Not that I ever see EB growing as big as GAF.

i wouldn't mind a traffic increase, as long as the most vocal people are quality posters.  i don't know what would happen if we were flooded by dumbs, considering maf's not too big on indiscriminate banning.

There's no way, even if we dont pay attention, that this place will get as big as GAF. There were A LOT of factors along the way before NeoGAF, before GAF, before GEO Forums that contributed to its success. The biggest factor being GA/GEO itself. NeoGAF wouldnt be where it is today without GA

There's nothing wrong with that considering that most of THOSE types of people wouldn't really be a good addition to the forum anyways.

GEO - Gaming Enthusiasts Online - It was what GA was about 10-11 years ago? Before it was GEO it was GE or something, but that was way back when.

That's how it happened with me...

I found this place through GAF, but i have never been a member there. My account was not approved, and now i spend a lot more time reading up stuff here than on GAF, which i rarely visit these days. Here it's like a filter for all the bull that gets written over there, and most of the people i enjoyed reading on GAF post here now, and those that i didn't enjoy who get banned and end up here leave very fast again, so the place stays clean...
