So, my company has a Japanese website. Great. We use a CMS to keep our Japanese website in order- The guy who attends to it is less than computer savvy, so having a CMS is a must. FYI: a CMS is essentially a WYSIWYG editor for text and images.
The problem is that he can copy and paste Kanji into the field no probs. But viewing it is another thing. And here's where we get tricky. The test site is
http://asilenttreatment.org/JPRedesign/jpredesigntempnewhead.htmlThe website as it exists now:
http://www.ilovepeanutbutter.jp/ (It is WRECKED in Firefox, but viewable in IE)
Is my inability to view the Kanji just a result of my XP language packs not being up to date? Or is it fo' real f'ed?
What're the major issues facing tjis kind of projext and how do I make sure he'll be able to just paste 'n go?
