Yeah you can run a huge number of emulators on PSP and rip games to memory sticks and run them from there. It's, as you said, similar to the R4. You just need to hack the PSP with custom firmware, which depending on the model can be a little tricky.

It is far, far better than what you can do with homebrew on DS. There's also the added bonus of being able to play all this stuff on TV or a PC monitor.

It doesn't. While the SNES emulator can be solid, it still needs some work. VC emulation on SNES is perfect. I guess that's the consolation for paying for them.

I've had squiggly interference lines frequently pop in, and especially more frequent around the edges of the screen. Also, the Wiimote shuts off every time I load the game up. Not my idea of perfection
