I just got a Universal S-Video cable from gamestop along with Yakuza 2. It hooks up to ps2, 360, and wii (lol). All I have to say is WOW

I can't be too hard on people excited by things like this. It wasn't until 2003 that I upgraded from my 13 inch mono TV with only RF to a 20 inch stereo with component cables. Now I have a 1080p Bravia...how times have changed.

I can't tell if this is a parody thread or not.

I do remember hooking up my PS2 through component made a pretty big difference on SDTV, but when I first got my 360 it was also connected via component to SDTV, it looked... OK. Then I got an HDTV and VGA cable. Hoh-lee-sheeeit.

S-video barely makes a difference anyway. Component is the real jump (even in SD).

The biggest leap in picture I have ever seen from an S-Video cable was on a modded Neo-Geo. The jump in quality was jaw-dropping.

But even that was like eight years ago and outdated at the time, LOLZ.
