People love to talk about themselves more than anything, primarily because most people won't ever bother to listen to what they have to say. Stick to simple, leading questions, and most anyone will talk your ear off. But most importantly, find someone to hang with out in public. Women tend to be attracted to guys who laugh a lot, make lots of eye contact, etc. and that's just easier to do if you're hanging with someone rather than by yourself.
