All my family, all my friends are stayin' home. We've gotten through Rita and all the other hurricans in times of my life but jeez, I'm freaking out here. I'm about to head out to work since class is over, but it's going to be hard concentrating on work when the news says "lol ur family and friends r gonna die"

I got a text message from my folks earlier. Seems my family's okay. Hurricane knocked down the fence, lots of small tree branches all over the place, water came in through the patio door, a whole bunch of trees fell down in the neighborhood including on top of neighbors cars...but everyone's okay! I still can't contact them though. They text messaged me while I was at work and I tend to turn my phone off at work.

I've tried calling, I sent a text message. Maybe the phone batteries ran out and the power's still out.

I tried text messaging Edward but haven't gotten a response yet.
