I downloaded the DMC movie soundtrack/"album" by the "band." Great stuff and hilarious track names. They really did keep and use names like "Death Penis," "Fuckingham Palace," "Rape That Girl," and "Slash Killer."

Well it's kind of hard for me to gauge this since there is basically ONE store in the entire prefecture that stocks everything new, but they have had the Krauser figures (and his bandmates) in stock for a little while now. It looks like they got re-released in September after the movie came out. What I can't find is the new Revoltech Street Fighter Ryu figure. Didn't see it anywhere, just the Street Fighter Online chick that no one would give a shit about.

But it is the same thing in a sense. Really what makes Krauser...Krauser most of the time isn't so much what he does, but rather how his rabid fans see something dumb or a fuck-up he makes and then turn it into something completely different.

Panorama out of Hong Kong has released DMC on two DVDs for $16 each. Japanese audio with English and Chinese subtitles. Are these legit?

The folks over at Anime on DVD are saying that Panorama is legit, and they should know. They're Nazi's when it comes to HK bootlegs.

Still not sure, though. I wish someone would just license DMC.

I've been listening this Tribute to Krauser album and it's pretty good stuff. It's basically remixes of other Japanese songs, except made to me more crazy. Like, one of the songs is that Kimura Kaela song from Ouendan 2. Another one is the intro of Beck by the Beat Crusaders.

There's a lot of stuff cut. Frankly the anime series is much better than the live action movie, but it's fun to watch nonetheless. The showdown with Jack at the end is better in the live version.
