DS9 is the best trek series, agreed. Everything they did with Sisko throughout the series delivered.

He's hardcore awesome. I'd almost get Voyager if they didnt have all those awful Seven of Nine LRNZ 2 BE HUMAN and then when she does that they bring on borg kids who LRNZ 2 BE HUMAN. I did buy the Time Travel Star Trek DVD set for the two Year of Hell episodes and the Series Finale.

I think my problem with TNG is all the filler eps with data trying to be human, or picard on the goddamned holodeck or just lots of weird quirky eps that dont go anywhere. They focused a lot of their best writing in a couple episodes a season. DS9 went the other way starting season 4 which focused on a larger arc, ala Babylon 5. Voyager did a weird mix of filler/arc but I think still suffered because of the filler eps. I hate fuckers discovering their humanity through heart warming shit. I wanna see heroic fucking last stand awesome grim determination

I'll give that DS9 was the most ambitious trek. It just never came together as well as TNG did IMO. I think I liked the BS filler eps w/the holodeck better than the bajoran civil war shit. I liked dax and Quark and Odo tho.

TNG and DS9 are about the nerdiest I go lol.

Babylon 5 is kinda lame in retrospect --- the politics are embarrassing --- but Ivanova is still a cool character!

The sweet post for Babylon 5 is Seasons 3 and 4. Season 1 was argh, Season 2 was better, but still argh, Seasons 3-4 were awesome, season 5 felt lame.
