Well, first of all, my second install DVD was bad. It wasn't accepting it as the second disc or whatever. I went and got a new copy of the game. I come home, it installs fine, but during the process of account creation, it tells me that my activation code cannot be used yet. WTF? The exact error message is "This code cannot be used yet."

I am PISSED. I've been through 2 copies of the game and haven't gotten one that works yet.

Apparently EVERYONE broke street date, some posts say codes will work on the 18th tho. Only lol collectors that spend extra money on crap get an extra week head start...well were supposed to.

"Piss off LOTS of customers? Or just the sad collectors?" -- they'll probably open the servers up early.

Standard Edition pre-orders got 2 days head start. I'm already a level 5 Witch Elf. Collectors Edition got 4 days head start.

I gained a level tonight. Up to 13 now.

The collector's edition trophies/titles are pretty cool. A goblin friend of mine gets to carry around the severed head of a dwarf. The dark elf just gets a stupid little button to go on their shirt.

At least my title is cool, "Painmaster." My custom face is pretty cool too, even though it looks like I got slapped across the face by some clawed creature.

I like it, the UI is kind clunky and there's a lot of crap going on. Once I get some time to really sit down with it ill get used to it. Plus my character rules, so that helps make it fun.

Best things about WAR you may not notice initially:

-Bags that you auto sort (filter on the side of the bag for potions, bag for mats!)
-Map with marked areas where your quest is, no more running around stupidly

well there's more shit going on in WAR than WOW.

Plus those stupid quests in areas like The Barrens or STV where you had no idea where you were going sucked.
