are you using headphones, prole?  the ds speaker are pure sh*te.  good headphones make a dramatic difference.

dq7 does not look better than dq4 ds.

dq7's battle sprite animations are lacking, the battle backgrounds tend to be static. The spell effects in dq4 ds are way better too.

Also, DQ4 ds' in game sprites for the characters are way better 7's. 7's were ass. The main character looks like he's 200 pounds or like he's really bloated.

The enemy animations in dq4 ds are so fucking smooth. And they don't just stand there like they're in a coma! They actually move!

I popped in DQ7 the night before I got DQ4. I just got the ship in DQ4 ds and I got into a ship battle and I was like LOL THE WATER ACTUALLY MOVES because in DQ7, when you get into a battle on your ship, it's just a static image of water, the water doesn't sway or anything.
