OMG this actually decent so far. Still in the training bits but awesome.

Looks great. Plays great.

Lucasarts redeemed.

the awesome terrain defying weapons coupled with your ability to make cover and move obstacles makes this a very very refreshing shooter.

Definately day 1 or 2.

Videos made it looks incredibly awful.  I'll still download the demo to see how much it sucks.

It is OK.  Manipulating the enviroment is fun...but enemy AI is garbage.  Weapon feel is mediocre too.

This will be a decent B level game to rent and play through.

This was dev'd by Day 1 Studios Chicago (and Maryland) I believe. Sure to be closed down when all is said and done.

The aiming reticle is far too large, I have a hard time seeing what I'm shooting at, what the fuck is that bar next to the reticle. Did not care for it, and the fact that they held your hand through the entire demo(until the very end) in regards to terrain modification really turns me off.

I think it's pretty decent. The physics are a huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge gimmick - Red Faction's GeoMod was more impressive, but it looks ok. WOW I can change the terrain by making HUMPS

They have two studios, they'll probably shut down the Maryland one.

The demo was pretty lame.  If it went on any longer, I probably would have grown tired of the gimmick.

It's not like LucasArts /owns/ Day1. Hell, this is still Day1's original IP, just as Mercs remains Pandemic's IP, not LucasArts. The gimmick in this might not be as huge as using teams in an FPS, or dividing the players' responsibilities by role, but it has a lot of potential for big fun. I can't wait to play the game when I get home.

I had low expectations, so I was pleasantly surprised.  Better than Mercs 2 at least.

Someone's been drinking.  Going from the demo, this is one of the most mediocre games I've ever played.  Maybe once it hits the cheaps I will pick it up if word of mouth is good.  I wouldn't even put Fracture above The Force Unleashed.

It looks like it could be a lot of fun if you're actually willing to use the special weapons right.  There's no way they'd let you manipulate the environment that much unless you had to constantly "outsmart" the enemy with new tactics.

Downloaded the demo from PSN and the shooting controls are kinda wonky, very loose. Could be a combo of bad controls and the DS3
Looks quite ok, didn't expect it to look that 'ok'.
