Upgrade would have been 2400 points on the Live marketplace.

Been holding off on playing my copy for this upgrade.

Shitty console game Mass Effect made me play for like 20 hours before fucking some blue girl.

Witcher? Within 30 minutes of hitting new game I was banging out the emotionally needy redhead sorceress.

I got this game last Christmas and still haven't played more than an hour of it - mostly due to the lack of my HD space and also it didn't run very good. Is the new EE going to make it atleast run pretty decently?

Yes.  The patches to the game improved performance significantly.  At first it ran stuttery for me, so I just shelved it for a few months.  A bit later it ran like a dream (except some of the cut scenes still stutter).

fucking just finished modifying the files, man it runs so smooth now on my new card (280gtx 1gig) compared to my old one (7800gtx  :lol)

I've been playing it again, albeit very slowly. Still running into the odd problem where cutscenes stutter but regular play is almost always 60 fps
