-lost odyssey was awesome. it was turn based, old style, and a nod to final fantasy but just different enough that there is no ff feel to it graphically or storywise (except for those fucking kids, oh how i wished they would die). the character designs were good enough, but better than other jrpgs, the dialogue was good - turning to awesome when jansen cracks his jokes. for me the dreams were the best part of the game and the sidequests weren't too difficult as to be unaccomplishable. i DEFINITELY recommend it for rpg fans, especially those that have played rpgs since snes.
-i made up an rpg from start to finish, story included though the gameplay elements need to be tweeked, and i feel that it is very original. unfortunately i'm not going to post details of it or the plot points because it might get stolen. i talked to a friend in the gaming industry and he told me that aside from making it myself there is no way to sell it to anyone without getting ripped off. i wish i knew what i could do and i wasn't paranoid, but it am.
