zune owners help please

So I updated my beautiful baby to 3.0 today.

Sweet.

But I'm having a hard time connecting my Zune id or card to my actual Zune. How do you do that? I updated it to 3.0. For some reason, I go to the Zune store and it says I need 3.0, but my Zune software says I'm already up to date.

My Zune profile says I have 2 plays, but they're some songs I haven't even listened to at all, so I don't know where they came from.

I don't know how this site works. How do the music you listen to pop up on your Zune card? How do you use the Zune card? Does it work like an xbl card? How do I add stuff to my favorites? Is that within the Zune software itself?

Right now I'm listening to Radiohead and it has yet to pop up in my list. What the shit.

I got a Zune just the other day in the mail, for free. It was from Live Search Club, so it's an old 30GB model. It will just collect dust though, I never use mp3 players.

I didn't do a single thing. A bearfriend of mine did it when he was doing them. He got enough points for another one, so he put my address in. I think he was using bots. We thought it was cancelled, since they were cracking down on the stuff. But a year or so later (couple days ago), I got a package in the mail from Microsoft.

I was thinking of selling it, but I don't think I'd get much for a 30GB first gen model. It may come into use if I go on a trip, or do something involving waiting, lol.

and now it just HANGS whenever i sync. In order to see sync complete now i have to take the usb out of the zune, plug it back in, and sync another album.

Since I got it last Christmas, it never did this. It'd finish immediately unless it was some big ass video file.

This Celia Cruz album has been stuck in 90% for like 2 minutes now and I *know* it's done transferring. I can't sync multiple albums at once now.

We have seen this problem occur when the Zune is connected to a front USB port. Those ports do not seem to be as responsive as "on-board" USB ports in the rear of your PC.

Connecting the sync cable to a USB port on the rear of the PC has resolved this for many of our forum members.

YOu can set up sync lists and then pick which ones you want to Sync, and you can also remove specific songs or whatever from your syncing entirely.
