I can't believe someone gave him the money to make that movie TWICE. I guess I liked it, although it's not quite clever enough to be an "art" film, nor violent enough to be a horror film, nor suspenseful enough to be a thriller. And far from being a detriment, that kind of qualifies it as it's own thing, but it's also indefensible, which is a bummer for a film with so much, supposedly, to talk about.
