And interestingly many real life conservative politicians love the character. Palmer was a democrat with balls. I see some similarities between Palmer and Obama in the way they both cautiously looked at tough issues and never made rash judgments. Unfortunately for Obama he won't be able to just let Jack Bauer fix things and worry about the consequences later lolz
