And I haven't even used it to play games in a while. I just use it to stream TV shows.

This is a year-old HDMI model.

Owned.

And I had been kinda regretting purchasing a Best Buy replacement plan for a while there...

So what's the deal with game saves and profiles and all that other shit? Can I just get my HDD transferred over or what?

I was going to tell them that I'm keeping the fucking drive if they try to pull some bullshit. So yeah, that's what I meant by transferring the HDD. So I'm good then?

If you can keep the drive, sure. I can't think of any way of transferring except with the transfer cable you get when you buy one of the Elites - though I think you can request one from MS directly

You can do the License Transfer via Xbox.com on your new box so you can still be offline playing DLC / Arcade / etc

If you need a transfer kit, I have one that I don't need anymore.

I'll keep this mind, since I think I'm able to upgrade to the new 60GB Pro for free. Thanks.

Damn, that sucks dude. You get one of those transfer kits with a 120GB HDD, so I would just splurge on that and then transfer your shit over. Another one bites the dust

The good news is that your replacement might be one of those newer 360s that are less prone to RROD.

Cajole's damn good for a semi regular PC player.  He destroyed everyone in TF2.

Not for me :(

Just RROD'd ten minutes ago.  Fuck that :'(

So if I send it in to MS, I'll still be able to keep my shit on my hard-drive, or what

you have to remove the hdd before you send it

a friend of mine left the drive on when they came to pick it up (yes, MS actually sends a van to get yours here) and he got a unit back without a hard drive. He had to buy a new one too

And that's in no way against MS's policy?

Cool.
