Evil Dead 2 made me appreciate Spiderman 2 even more

A couple hours after Thanksgiving dinner yesterday Spiderman 2 came on. I hadn't seen it in awhile so of course I watched it. Anyway I couldn't help but see it in a new light now that I'm familiar with Evil Dead 2.

When Doc Octavius is being worked on by the doctors...lol that entire scene is like Evil Dead 2! One of the doctors grabs a fucking chainsaw, and then the first person view from the tenticle's perspective is like the view in Evil Dead 2 when the Evil Dead (is that what it's called) would chase after people.

It made me feel smart when I started laughing at that scene and everyone stared at me. I know something they don't

Haha, yep.  I love the camerawork and editing in that scene.  Also, when Peter and Mary Jane are in the coffee shop or whatever it was, after the car flew through and you hear Doc Ock approaching, the way the camera does a fast zoom in on every thump is another Raimi-ism.
