IwataI wonder what, exactly, has excited you so much. Is it because something you always wanted to make has finally been accomplished?MiyamotoI suppose so. I strongly want everyone to understand this game. Earlier you said this may be my life's work. This game may be exactly what I've wanted to accomplish all this time. It may also be a reaction against my complex about musical instruments.
I wasn't this excited when we created Super Mario Bros.
At least he's honest. Ya dig, pallys?

MiyamotoExcuse me, may I say something? You guys have completely missed the point of all my wisdom!IwataAgh! Miyamoto-san…you're not supposed to be here…MiyamotoWell, it's a good thing I am. It's nice that the game gained appeal, but without those extra features, the instruments wouldn't sound like themselves! For example, if you compare single notes from the guitar and ukulele sound sources, you can hardly tell the difference between them. If you ask the sampling staff, they'll tell you the source sounds are different, but your average person out there can't tell just by listening to single notes. That's what makes them feel real. I'm certain that's what I told you, but you don't seem to remember at all!IwataMiyamoto-san's not supposed to be here.WadaCan anybody else hear Miyamoto-san? I could swear I just heard him talking.MoriiI can hear him, too!TotakaIt's just like he's in the room with us!MiyamotoA harp's a harp because you can run your fingers up the scale and bagpipes are bagpipes because they squeak and squawk and a sitar's a sitar because the strings continue to reverberate and…
