Took in a stray
« on: October 02, 2008, 07:30:12 PM »

Orange one. Grey one is my cat, Jinx. He's been around since I got back from Cuba, so early July. Its getting pretty cold at night, and as you can see, he doesn't have much meat on his bones.

He is so cute!

Has he been to the vet yet? If not, you should really be keeping them separated until you can rule out feline leukemia, feline aids, FIP, distemper, feline parvo, rabies, and any number of other diseases strays can carry. Even if Jinx is indoor-only and up to date on vaccines (which I hope is true!), vaccines aren't 100% effective and it's better to be safe than sorry.

What are you going to name the orange kitty though?!

Stiny or Stinky? I thought that might just have been a typo but wanted to make sure. He's adorable! I hope he gets a clean bill of health. :) :)
