Order of the Phoenix was strong enough for me to believe this may be the best Potter film if Yates is given more freedom. I'm inclined to believe that he was limited in some way by the previous film, even though it was adequate. There was just a lot of textbook Hollywood stuff in there, such as the montage scenes with the magic, that were technically good but didn't really bring anything new to the table. Now this wouldn't be a complaint usually, but fucking Cuaron directed Azkaban, so this becomes one.
