A couple weeks ago, I made several bets as you can see, and got down $160. I won it back by Georgia escaping by the hair of their ass to beat South Carolina as I bet the money line. I won a small little $5 parlay later in the night, just for the hell of it. And that was it.

Overall, I won 2 out of 12 bets, and lost on the Cubs last night so I was down $45 again and pissed.
So being the stubborn irresponsible guy I am just now I played a mini roulette casino thing on there for the first time, and bet $50 and lost. So overall I was then down $100. Then in true Martingale system style, I bet $100 and won, and it put me back even - actually a little ahead, now I'm quitting. Fucking nuts.  :dizzy

I'm postponing gambling until i have money to burn.  my first time in AC i lost so much, after being a few hundred dollars up my first hour or so of gambling.

Good to quit now before you get addicted and lose tons of money then have large men come and break your legs.  :-*

Gambling is awesome.

I think you need to avoid sports betting for a bit though, or pick better teams.

You could quit, or you could take what you have left, bet it on black, and double it!

I woulda lost money on that Liddell/Evans fight too, if I'd bet. Tito Ortiz isn't much, and he'd have beaten Evans in their match, except for Big John pulling a point from Tito. I thought anyone who would've been beaten by Tito would get their ass kicked by Liddell.

At this point, I'm convinced anything I bet I'm doomed to lose. Saturday when Kimbo fights washed up Shamrock, I think its a ridiculous longshot Shamrock will do anything this old and this might be his last fight. I think he's just wanting a payday. Granted, Kimbo is damn near an amateur in submission skills, but he should win that easily. I know if I bet it though, Ken will catch him in some wrist lock or silly shit and I would lose.

My aunt gave me $100 to mess around in Vegas when I was under 21.  I took a risk and put all $100 in one bet in Roulette.  That was the last time I gambled.   :(

At least you didn't waste much time losing it.

I remember reading a story about a guy who sold EVERYTHING. Liquidated all his assets, took all the money, went to Vegas, and was even wearing a rented tux. Not even the clothes on his back were his, and bet it on one roulette spin and won. I think a camara crew or something followed him around about it for a documentary show on some TV channel.  :o

I guess not winning big wasn't so bad in my case since they would have checked my driver's license.  It would have been nice to win several hundred though.

I remember this, it was pretty amazing. I'm surprised Hollywood hasn't jumped all over it.

I wouldn't put any money on the Slice/Shamrock fight. Ken's got a lot of experience, but I think he's overconfident and he won't protect his jaw like he needs to, and he'll probably choose to stand up and bang -- big mistake. Slice is less experienced than Shamrock, could not throw down with anyone in his weightclass in UFC, and is probably believing all the hype that's surrounding him; if Ken can take him down, you'll be looking at a nasty submission.
