Rock Band, goddamn you

I am torn

I love the AC/DC, despite the county-fair-toothless-carny-blacklight-poster branding

but fuck, $40, disc only, for 18 songs

first you make a shitty guitar controller for a game that depends on...a guitar controller

then you make these smh decisions

why must you reject my love, rock band

You can export the songs if you buy it - one time use code included.

I'll get it though, that's easy achievements. Aerosmith was better than GH3, even.

I thought it was $30?

Also, I am unsure what will happen if your HDD dies and you lose that data. Not that it will affect me, I do not plan on exporting. Maybe if I decide to get rid of the game.

AFAIK, you are just buying the export key which is associated with your gamertag, so you'd be able to export again without a problem.

They're forcing you to buy all 18 songs and charging about $10 too much for it which sucks, but AC/DC is awesome so I'm buying it. I'll get as many points as are easy to get, and then export to RB2.

If AC/DC wasn't a bunch of twats and allowed people to buy their songs individually, this wouldn't be happening

I refuse to shop at Wal-mart. Maybe I'll ask for it for Christmas.

I have three AC/DC albums, but I can't name more than say 4 songs I'd want to play on RB.  I guess I'll have to pass.

If it doesn't have Thunderstruck, Back in Black, All Night Long, or Highway to Hell I'll REALLY have to wonder wtf is up with that pack.

How could you not want to play Hells Bells, Back in Black, Thunderstruck, Shoot to Thrill, T.N.T., Dirty Deeds, You Shook Me All Night Long, For Those About to Rock, or Highway to Hell on Rock Band?

Forgot about Hells Bells actually, even though I have that album on cassette.  Forgot about For Those About to Rock too, but that song's just ok to me.  You named Back in Black, Thunderstruck, All Night Long and Highway to Hell (those were my 4.)

Thunderstruck, Shoot to Thrill, TNT, and Dirty Deeds I can take or leave.  My main problem is it all sounds very derivative to each other (the ac/dc sound.)  Of course, Boston does too but I didn't have to pay $18 to play their songs.

The setlist is probably stronger than I realized, but to me all their songs sort of run together.

edit:  Dirty Deeds is a sweet song too
