Thought you DW fans might wanna check this out.

Game runs super fast with max settings but even at max settings, it looks dated. It's probably a port of the PS2 and not the 360 version.

Is this the PC version? It's probably Dynasty Warriors 6 Special then. Weird that they ported it from the PS2 version.

It's not a port of the PS2 version. It's a port of the PS3 version. (lead platform for DW6)

I rented the most recent one for PS3 and then realized I pissed my money away on the same damn game I had been playing since the PS2 launched. OMFG! You can climb a ladder now! Holy shit!! That was worth the price of the PS3 alone!!

I shamefully bought the 360 version the other day because I liked the lighting and the character upgrade grid...too bad its few good points are hard to bring against some of the worst character changes ever.

Can you DL the PC version tonight see if they've got the same assets? The PC version runs at a really smooth framerate. That might matter to you if that's one of the 360 version's problems.

How are the character models? The ones in the PC version seem like they were lifted from the PS2 versions although the PC can handle a lot more of them.

most models in the game took a slight hit polygon wise, but the lighting and animation are better.

FYI, I think the max resolution on the PC version is whatever the widescreen resolution is for monitors that's comparable to 720p. so 1440xsomething? Koei sucks at PC ports.

The demo let me play at 1920x1200. Still looks bad though.

DW6 isn't quite the leap promised. I BELIEVE, from the looks of it, DW Gundam 2 may use the same engine...the lighting quality looks the same in screen and the same amount of higher quality visual effects. I really cant wait for DW Gundam 2, im all finished with the original.

GW1 looked a whole lot better than DW6 although its environments are still too barren. I wish Koei would use more of their poly budgets for environmental detail.

I disagree, the lighting in 6 is far superior to DW Gundam, but the animation boost in 6 is marginal at best, 60 fps does not magically = more animation.

The demo looks pretty meh even when I turrn on the advanced lighting. I'm guessing that the PC version is a mix of the 360 and PS2 version.

I think it has the Nu Gundam in it, which means Sazabi will also be there.
