Ali is up to something as usual since i doubt he would like a world without war (unless hes in charge or something). Isn't that whole "Char" thing already filled by Mr Bushido? so i think that would be done with .
00 is weird because they split Char into Graham and Ali. Graham has more of Char's spirit but in S1 Ali was always in the Char Red mech. It's definitely an interesting aspect that Setsuna has 2 rivals. S1 kinda blew it though and Graham was barely in the show after the mid-point until the last 5 mins. Hopefully this season works Mr. Bushido/Ali/Ribbons into the plot with them actually having a point to being in the show.
I still say he's a bitch until the show explains why he suddenly left Setsuna and Marina way back when instead of killing them. S1 Ali would have killed both of them.
And his suit this season is really hideous. I liked the suit designs from S1 even though they remind a bit of ZoE instead of traditional Gundam, but this one is just terrible.
I don't think the writers even know wtf happened at the start of that ep. I think it's better to pretend that scene didn't exist.
I agree on the suit designs though. I think OO S2 has the worst mecha designs of almost any Gundam I can think of. S1 had the cool looking ZoE flags, Ali's cool looking red AEU mecha that combined into a cool red spider MA for that one ep, Exia was pretty badass once it got the 7 blades. Dynamos with the wings closed as a shield like Deathscythe looked great. Nadleeh was great. Even the generic Asia mechs that Sergei and crew piloted were neat looking.
In S2 you have the OO which looks...ok. It looks like a football player
The OO w/Orizer model looks kinda iffy too so I hope it looks better in motion. Arios looks worse than Kyrios with it's stupid orange bodygear. Cheredum looks like Dynamos without his cool cloak shield. Seravee looks good, but Virtue had Nadaleeh; Servee better have a Nadleeh MK-II hidden underneath. The GXs with the lances look distinguished mentally-challenged.
The only good mechs in S2 so far are Mr. Bushido's custom Ahead and the standard Aheads and the damaged Exia from ep1. The innovator mechs might be good but they need to be in the show for more than 30 seconds so I can tell.
