Capcom raped the franchise. There's way too much action now. Sure, RE always had more action than Silent Hill. But it never was an action game.

Re4 was a really good game. But a terrible RE game if you like the past iterations. I'm not hyped over RE5 at all. To me it doesn't exist.. They went WAY overboard with the action and the co-op/second character totally ruins it even more.

I don't remember Jill dying in any RE game. So I don't know why she should be dead. She's one of my most favorite RE characters.

Jill being dead is in the PLAY GOD video - it flashes a tombstone with her name on it

Jill didnt die in either the movie or the game, so who knows what that means. I think its just a way for her to emerge as a new name as a OMG TWIST

Silent Hill 5 is basically the RE4 of the series and that's a great game. Haters dont know what they are talking about.

Old style controls had left stick for walking and turning, holding down a shoulder button for aiming and a face button for shooting, and no ability to strafe at all. New style has left shoulder button for aiming, right shoulder button for shooting, left stick for moving/strafing, right stick for looking/aiming. Basically getting rid of the "tank controls" and making it like Gears.

Looking at these and earlier videos, a new control scheme doesn't seem like it should be the highest priority for the dev team.
