someone on gamefaqs (people discuss leaked games and give impressions ahead of time there) said there's level scaling again...or that he thought there was 'cause he took down some super mutant at the beginning of the game in like 2 shots.    

If that's true, then Bethesda can go fuck itself.  I'm not doing that shit again.  May as well give me everything up front and call it an action game with rpg elements, it would be better that way.

There's level-scaling, but better implemented, going by what they've said. Certain levels are scaled to your level the first time you visit and then they retain that level throughout the game. Other levels are automatically at a high level to begin with that.

You get a full 20 minutes to play it so I just hauled ass out into the world skipping the first stuff the game throws at you, and I'm running like hell from monsters and shiz, and then I duck into this building maybe a mile out from the start point. It's a brothel! The pimp is there and he's like "sup" and I'm like "Hoes please" and then I go upstairs. And then I hear some shit coming from downstairs, OH NO, THE MONSTERS THAT WERE FOLLOWING ME ACTUALLY CAUGHT UP AND WENT INTO THE BROTHEL! So the pimp starts unloading on the monsters with his shotgun but gets killed and the girls are freaking out and running around like crazy getting killed. So I sneak back outside and am like "doop dee doo, I didn't just do that"

I remember loading up one of my games of Morrowind.  I had saved inside a building or something.  Upon exiting the building, everyone in town was DEAD aside from a few people that were running all over the place.

Basically if you liked Oblivion you will like this...
World is very big,been playing whole day,finished only couple of quests.
Game has the same quick travel system as Oblivion.

VATS combat system works really well,been constantly using it,it really brings tactical depth to the combat.
Combat without it kinda sucks(at the beginning at least) because:

1.You are underpowered,low armour,low ammo,low etc at the start.
2.Enemies have weak points,hitting them requires precision.

Graphically i think they nailed look and feel of a post nuclear war world,everything looks burned and dirty.
Game can also be very spooky,especially during night,you never know what kind of shit is going to attack you.

Toilets give you health and radiation

World is very big,been playing whole day,finished only couple of quests.
Game has the same quick travel system as Oblivion.

VATS combat system works really well,been constantly using it,it really brings tactical depth to the combat.
