Outside of Tina Fey doing Palin (which got me watching it again), this version of SNL is pretty hard to sit through.

i wouldn't say that SNL got good (hasn't been for quite some time now), but it is getting better. i suppose politics is such a hot topic these days, everyone has to put their two cents in.

Yeah from what I hear they only get to write a few lone skits, plus all the digital shorts.

Bring back Tina Fey and make the Lonely Islands guys the main writers dammit.

SNL is a bit like Sarah Palin. It's been so hideously shitty for so long that a brief moment of near-competency feels like a prime showcase of upper crust comedy.
