I remember being blown away from the initial showing of this game, but that isn't the case anymore. Either it got heavily downgraded or my standards have been raised. And it still reminds me a bit of IU.

I like what I see. How big is the online component in this game? Is it mandatory or significant? If so, I'm not so sure I am interested.

Reminds me of a much nicer looking Last Remnant, actually. I remember being extremely impressed by the original trailer for this, these new shots don't look too hot, I expect a bit more out of Level 5.

Some of it looks great some of it looks barely IU level.

The Frogs reminded me of the aliens in SW Episode 1 though.

Very average now.

I don't know if I've been spoiled by the newer games or what but even when looking at the decidedly more impressive 2007 media from WKS I'm not as wowed as I was before.

Yeah, the old footage of WKS looks much better, especially in the animations. Major downgrade, but I don't think it looks bad. It is certainly nowhere near the great graphics of Star Ocean 4, but against most current j-rpg it isn't bad. Blue Dragon is probably the best looking one out there right now.

If this was on Xbox 360 it would be getting a major beating for its graphics. Seriously, we would be hearing "Dreamcast" and "PS2" "graphics" being thrown around like it was the fucking 4th of july.
