Don't worry, you'll get tired of it. I personally like the game, but it is really repetetive and shallow

Just because I found this thread first and I've been playing it a lot lately.

The majority of the game is either creating shit or playing on the space stage. I wish they would have put more work into the tribal stage and the civilization stage for sure. Other than that, it's a good game. It's not the second coming of Jesus like people claimed it would be.

Quite possibly the biggest lame duck that came out this year....well, this and MGS4.  I gotta give credit to Spore though 'cause you can actually do something in the game as opposed to watching 8 hours worth of cinemas.

Still, I can't believe this was the game that got everyone so excited.  It only gets mildly interesting during the space era and even then it isn't all that great.

God, I really loved this game at the beginning.  so much potential.  It just need to be a lot deeper.  It seems like they really gave up on complexity as you moved towards a civilization and then the space era.  Hopefully there will be some awesome expansions that flesh it out

Which is amusing because MGS4 had the most pure gameplay out of all the fucking MGS games.

How in the world could you possibly come to that conclusion?  I think you need to go back replay MGS2 and MGS3.

What the fuck are you talking about?

Pretty much what I said.

But anyways, all the MGS games are cinematic heavy. Which doesn't bother my film major self, so I loved MGS4.

Although after act two the gameplay really does get pushed to the side for the cinematics for sure. Act five especially.

Anyways, I still enjoy Spore, but shit, please give us an expansion or something on the earlier stages. All five stages in less than five hours is ridiculous.
