Soul Calibur IV- On both 360 and PS3 as always. I think I have found my secondary character to Taki in the form of Lizard Man. I am getting my ass kicked but he is fun to use. I also mess around with Cassandra and Sophitia, but I think I might prefer LM to them. I am also thinking trying out Rock.

Musou Orochi Maou Saorin- The 360 version got patched! It doesn't feel like you are swimming underwater on some stages anymore! It's fully playable!

And that's about it. I think I am addicted to Soul Calibur IV.

DQ IV

on a quest for a sword to complete the Zenithian equipment set atm

The one thing that amazed me about this game is (compared to the other DQ I've played, VIII) how hard it is sometimes to find out where you need to go. Usually one npc gives you a hint, but it can still be hard if you haven't got a location zoomed. You basically need to memorize a lot of town names. For instance this guy tells me to go to Buland. It wasn't on my zoom list yet so I set sail, looking over half of the world until I read it was the very first town in the game. It's cool that the game doesn't hold your hand, but town names on the map through a button press would've been nice

I'm going back and forth between games hoping to get into the CoD5 beta. I went to sleep last night with the plan to pre-order the game at Gamestop, but now I think I'm sick or really lazy that I'm fooling myself into being sick.

Going to try to finish up my current X-COM run this weekend, as well as play some more Hinterland. Canadian Thanksgiving this weekend, one on sat with the gf's family, one on sunday with mine, so gaming will be a bit hit and miss depending.

I'm getting pretty interested in picking up King's Bounty too.

I finally just played the Fracture demo - PASS

(altho the ground growing / sinking mechanic was cooler than i thought...the engine is more appropriate for some kinda puzzle/strategy game with cool physics and not an action shooter...thats where the game falls apart - when the shooting begins

Cutscenes were shit too....

I got 50% of the trophies in Linger in the Shadows

I tried that rocket cars demo and even played it online - PASS shit-game.

Fucking loving the 1080 p videos of Resident Evil 5, Dead Space and Fallout 3 in QORE. Want all three games bad. I never saw Fallout 3 look so good....

I have that Valkyria Chronicles demo but havent tried yet - gotta go do some things.

the portable games are nice, but wipeout demands a big tv and big speakers -- and the handling and track design are just creamy dreamy

i DEMAND an original next-gen wipeout, or at least lots of dlc tracks

I dorked on Ninja Gaiden 2 - got 1000 Obliterations achievement

I dorked on Infinite Undiscovery - got a quick achievement

I beat Unsolved Crimes DS - pretty good

I'm probably gonna just blitz Fable PC so I'm set for Fable 2

finally managed to S-rank all the stages in Human mode in DMC4... was actually pretty tough. S-ranked the first 4 stages in Devil Hunter on my first try. Its actually easier to S-rank on Devil Hunter as the baddies dont die so fucking easily and you can knock out decent combos

Oh, I know all about it. I have played it before on both Xbox and PC although I never did finish it. I remember the impressions thread I made for it on GAF years back had one of the developers posting in it, that was cool!

If it doesn't run smoothly enough I think I am gonna break out my old fucked-up modded Xbox and play it on there.

GTA IV - finished Liberty City Minute; that last mission is horrid; total play time was 15:07 after the credits finished rolling
Burnout Paradise - stupidly addicting game; gorgeous, too
Rock Band - trying to figure out if I can play guitar and sing at the same time. Barely.

I've been playing some BiA Double Time on Wii while I'm installing PC games on my laptop's external HDD

Don't believe the reviews, it's a decent port, graphics are halfway between the PS2 and Xbox versions

Also, I don't think any of the reviewers either remember or actually ever played BiA on Xbox or PS2, because they keep complaining about how the framerate drops in the Wii version (and it does) but I just lol because all the console versions were pretty much slideshows at various times

Messed around with the DOOM 3 expansion pack today since I never got around to playing it. The game still looks surprisingly good. I guess that's mostly due to the atmospheric lighting and shadowing.

Valkeria chronicles Demo was pretty meh...

ITs about as must have as a PS2 Shining Force game...

Im still buying it for sure - but it DOES NOT live up to the hype IMO.

Id say it is 7.x land - which is fine for me.

I like how Edge magazine puts it, even though they are kinda wrong since DW6 changed stuff:

"Where Koei's philosophy on Dynasty Warriors has always seemed to be to change nothing major in fear of the customer, Basara has always been about taking the pleasing elements of Dynasty Warriors and turning them into an actual satisfying game."

Basara plays better than DW does, no question about that. But man PLAY BASARA 2 IT KILLS THE HORRID ORIGINAL. I know they changed some stuff in the American version to make it more similar to what SB2 ended up being, but still...YUCK.

I can't wait for the PSP Basara game. It's a two-on-two versus-style match up that keeps the beat-em-up elements from the console games.

360 RRoD aside, it was just as bad last generation. And the generation before with PSone's. Sega and Nintendo made good consoles, but man Sony and Microsoft can't seem to make good-quality systems for shit.
