What does WMC do that WMP 11 can't? I've noticed that it's the main feature lacking from Business Vista.

linking with other media center devices, ie x360 for wireless media sharing, which is pretty sweet except for the lack of broad codec support. At least useful for streaming mp3s

it sucks for using with the 360 because of the awful codec support
i just use WMP11 to sync instead

I guess that's not that necessary for me then since I have a Zune. I usually just link my Zune directly to the 360. Too bad the same can't be done with a PS3 since I like the PS3's interface more for media playback.

Really? That's cool. I"ll check it out the next time I hook up a labtop to my 360 for downloading demos. I'd love to have a wireless adapter for my 360 but it's so damn expensive and mostly incompatible with future consoles.

I think I did it wireless, I should really double check, I may be misremembering...the more I think about the event the more it falls apart!

mines been fine for a while, it seemed to have CRAZY issues on the first 360 model tho, but that was the USB port im sure. USB ports can be pretty flaky

I love giving my money to MS but $100 for a wireless adapter is way too much when the other manufacturers include it for free.
