Why cant videogames release on weekends?

I so wanna play more than the 45 minutes I got to spend but I need to goto bed right now.

I didnt even get a chance to workout today.

No time to game tomorrow either because I gotta go get a haircut and workout after work....

I disagree.  There's nothing better than coming home after a hard day's work, plopping on the couch, and sliding in a good xbox 360 disc/Blu-Ray.

Uh, the Rock Band 2 bundle released this past Sunday.

I remember hearing something ages ago that the reason lots of media ships on Tuesdays is because it was one of the lowest traffic days for shipping in general.

If stuff came out on Fridays, they would probably still ship it on Tuesday, and just be dicks and not sell it to you until the end of the week.

If I'm buying a new game that I want to play right away, I'll usually wait till Friday or Saturday before I start. It sucks only getting to play for like 2 hours and have to call it a night.
