The processor and hard drive transfer speed brings it down.

You Polish?  I thought Borys was the only one still using such a low resolution.

It's just my work laptop.  Still, my other screen is 1280*1024 and it doesn't do much better.  I guess you must be running 1920*something?

The laptop I'm on is only a 3.1, but my desktop at home is (I think) a 5.1. I wish to hell I could upgrade the video card in this laptop.  :'(

A family friend has asked me to help migrate her data from an old WinXP laptop to a new Win7 Fujitsu laptop. She hadn't mentioned that the old laptop doesn't actually show anything on its screen, and requires an external monitor to view. Sometimes. Other times, it only requires the external monitor to be connected before it uses its own, built-in screen.

I can't see any place to tell it, "No, you don't have a 2nd monitor at all times, so SHUT UP."

Using XP is a walk down memory lane, but doing it in Japanese is no picnic whenever I stray out of my ingrained-muscle-memory keystroke zone.

The next step is to state whether your actual penis is larger than that number or not. You first, Arvie.

All the other threads were w7 or w8 specific, so I necro'd this for whining about older versions.

I wouldn't know, but from what I hear it's one of those things you can't live without once you've experienced it.
